The workshop sets out to encourage critique of TA theory with particular reference to Newton’s Health System and the use of metaphor. Different ways of framing TA models will be considered and linked to the theme of professional identity and purpose.
The workshop is aimed at trainees and trainers interested in a meta-perspective of TA theory.
The process will incorporate group discussion, taught input and personal reflection. It is intended to invigorate participants either in terms of their engagement with TA theory and practice, or their role as educators and trainers.
