Professional Vitality Lost and Found through Supervision

Nicoleta Gheorghe (TSTA-P)

Conference: Saturday, October 26th, 16.15 - 18.00

How do we benefit from supervision? What topics/ themes/ questions are appropriate? How does supervision and working with clients influence each other? How do we bring vitality into working with clients through supervision? What are the possible bloks in receiving adequate supervision? How do we overcome them? These are the questions from which I invite you to start in this workshop that aims to understand the responsibilities of the practitioner in the supervision process.

The theoretical framework of reference is based on the relational model of supervision as presented by Frawley-O’Dea & Sarnat, Hargarden and Chinnock. We will also use the supervision model developed by Hawkins & Shohet.

We will learn together from the exercises proposed by the trainer, the group discussions and from the examples and questions coming from the trainer and from participants.

The workshop can be relevant for psychotherapists and clinicians who are în supervision, or for those who, although they have completed the mandatory supervision period, want to use supervision as a way to maintain vitality in their work with clients.
